We now have this really fancy new blender at home, so I’ve been using it a lot to make smoothies. Granted, I’ve always been into smoothies, and the Magic Bullet is Perfect for that, but it’s really fun making them in this blender. Over the past week I’ve been toying with different ingredients and ratios and I’ve finally perfected my breakfast smoothie.




  • kale
  • blueberries
  • banana
  • decadent blend (ground chia, flax, coconut)
  • chia seed
  • cocoa powder
  • milk (you can also substitute coconut water)
  • ice

Blend it all together and enjoy! The chia, flax, and banana make it filling enough for a meal but it’s not too heavy.
