While surfing the web, I stumbled across what I can only describe as the greatest combination of readily available ingredients ever: VANILLA ICE CREAM + OLIVE OIL DRIZZLE + SEA SALT.

Here I used a French vanilla ice cream, extra virgin olive oil, and Himalayan pink salts. So good!

  1. I’m not completely sure I’m on board with this. Ironically, vanilla is my favorite ice cream flavor and olive is my favorite oil. While I don’t doubt the flavors are spectacular (especially with a dash of sea salt in there as well), isn’t the mouth-feel a little strange?

    • Not really, the ice cream sort of balances everything out. I think it’d work better with extremely cold ice cream. Mine melted really quickly, so that combined with the oil did get a bit weird. Nonetheless, it’s really yummy. Give it a try!
